3mm Holographic Sequin Yarn

Holographic sequin yarn uses a metallised polyester film with a diffraction pattern embossed into it. The disc throws a different colour depending on the angle you view it from, which is why it photographs so well and why it moves hard in festive and party wear.

Be aware that a website cannot show you this properly. Every screen renders the swatch as a flat colour, and the whole character of the product is that it is not flat. Order the sample card before you commit to a shade — this is the one quality in our range where we insist on it.

Construction is otherwise the same as our standard 3mm: 150D polyester base, 240 discs to the metre, 480 turns of binder twist. The holographic film is slightly stiffer than plain PVC, so the yarn has a little more body in the hand.

Lead time is longer than the standard 3mm because the film comes in on a longer cycle and we do not hold every colour in stock. Plan for 14 to 18 days and tell us early if you have a shipment date to hit.
